Chilean documentary “The Mole Agent” After watching

Charles, a retired man, gets a new life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes the mole in an undercover investigation at a nursing home. He says: “The Mole Agent” The documentary is powerful because it makes people of all ages, races, and genders feel something remarkably similar, and I describe that feeling in a very reductive way: “I need to call my mom.” In our show, we tried to achieve something similar in tone: does our show fundamentally contribute to the feeling that makes us call our moms?
Remake of El agente topo (2020) Loved it!
I was expecting someone to go undercover, his crazy antics and behavior. Instead, we get a series about a man who not only helped others, but helped himself heal from the loss of his wife.
Because you wanted to see how it worked out – who stole and so on
The cheesy lines, the way the issues were handled, made me very emotional at some points – like with the resident with memory issues. Still, it’s nothing serious enough to make the episodes boring or tedious, but it keeps the series worth watching.
The acting is superb, the cinematography & locations are well done
I really hope they will do one more season and revisit the series. Bring a great mix of laughs, emotions, script, location and acting like they did in Charles’ next detective style adventures.
