Roswell Delirium is an emotionally charged 1980s science fiction thriller set in an alternate 1980s in which the United States is hit by a wave of nuclear attacks, and in the aftermath, those who remain pretend that everything is normal even though they are all suffering from radiation poisoning. A young girl named Mayday attempts to contact her father, who is in space on a shuttle mission, through a series of ham radios. Instead of making contact, she receives an intergalactic distress call from space that takes her on a journey to Spacerock, the land that once housed Area 51. She is exposed to severe levels of radiation, and within days all of her organs begin to fail. Knowing that treatment will not help, her mother Wendy returns her to Spacerock to hand her over to the aliens in the hope that they can save her.
