Daniel arrives in Beijing where Mr. Han has been looking for him. Han has a new protege, Li Fong. The two mentors must collaborate to instruct Li Fong, but it remains to be seen if their training approaches will be compatible. On November 21, 2023 Sony has released a video starring Ralph Macchio and Jackie Chan, announcing that they are both returning for the new film as well as a global casting call for the new titular Karate Kid.
